Spend or save: why should financial literacy be taught from a young age?
Tashkent, August 19, 2026. InfinBANK, in partnership with the Yangi Asr Avlodi publishing house, has launched a social project aimed at developing financial literacy in children. As part of this initiative, a special book titled “Pul. Bolalar uchun moliyaviy bilimlar” (Money. Financial knowledge for children) has been created. The book introduces young readers to the basics of handling money in a way that is accessible and easy for a child to understand, helping them form healthy financial habits from an early age.

The book launch was held on August 19 at 6:30 PM at Theater+ and was not just a literary event, but a family occasion combining education, creativity, and entertainment.
Pulat Salimov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of InfinBANK: “Financial literacy begins long before a child gets their first bank card or starts managing money on their own. It is during childhood that the habits that later shape a person's attitude toward finances are formed. Therefore, our task is to talk to children about money in a simple, understandable, and engaging way. It is with this goal in mind that we decided to support the publication of the book and thus contribute to our children's education. A portion of the books will be distributed to children's libraries and schools. The books can also be purchased at the stores of the Yangi Asr Avlodi publishing house”.

Elvira Gimadiyeva, Director of the Marketing and Customer Experience Department at InfinBANK: “The idea for this project emerged last year, following the “Bank va Ma'rifat 365” forum on financial literacy and education, which was hosted by the Central Bank. During the forum, we organized meetings with leading publishing houses, and it was then that we began discussing how to make conversations about finance understandable and engaging for children. We chose Yangi Asr Avlodi as our partner, and together we developed and brought the idea for this book to life. It was important for us not just to publish a book, but to create a truly useful and accessible tool for children that would help them develop a healthy relationship with money from an early age. Today, it is especially gratifying to see how this idea has evolved into a full-fledged social project, uniting the bank, the publisher, experts, and, most importantly, children and their parents”.

The presentation featured a specially prepared program for the whole family. The organizers aimed not just to entertain the guests, but to lay the foundations of a financial culture for the younger generation. They wanted children to fall in love with the book's characters and plot even before opening the first page, sparking their desire to read it as soon as possible. Children were able to playfully immerse themselves in the world of finance: they completed a financial quest, watched a theatrical performance, and took part in an entertainment program.
The project continues InfinBANK’s work on social and educational initiatives and reflects the bank's commitment to fostering a financially literate generation.
