From Dialogue to Investment: InfinBANK Expands Cooperation with the US

Cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States of America is reaching a new level, becoming increasingly practical in nature. Alongside diplomatic dialogue, economic and investment ties are expanding, new joint projects are taking shape, and American investors' interest in the opportunities of Central Asia is growing.

Financial institutions capable of connecting international capital with promising projects in the region are becoming an essential part of this process. For InfinBANK, developing cooperation with American partners is a key area opening up new opportunities to attract investment and strengthen international ties.

Dialogue on Joint Projects: Meeting at InfinBANK's Head Office

A working meeting was held at the InfinBANK head office in Tashkent, attended by the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jonathan Henick, and The bank shareholder Farxod Mamatdjanov. The talks focused on developing long-term project and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States of America.

The parties paid particular attention to joint projects, opportunities to attract US capital, and the expansion of investment cooperation across Central Asia. A key part of the meeting was devoted to discussing specific agreements and initiatives to be presented at upcoming high-level events. Thus, the talks served not only as a platform for exchanging views, but also as part of shaping a practical economic agenda for further cooperation.

From diplomatic dialogue to economic partnership: Samarkand prepares to host C5+1

The next important stage will be the C5+1 ministerial summit, which will be held in Samarkand in October. The format unites the United States and five Central Asian countries - Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.

The C5+1 format was established as a platform for regular dialogue between the United States and Central Asian countries. The upcoming meeting in Samarkand will be another step in the development of this cooperation. According to regional sources, more than 100 American companies will participate in the events, focusing on issues of regional economic connectivity, energy security, trade, private investment, and the economic modernization of Central Asia. InfinBANK will participate in the summit, continuing to develop international cooperation.

It is in this context that the projects discussed in Tashkent are of particular importance. They demonstrate how diplomatic agreements are gradually transforming into concrete economic initiatives that require funding, international expertise, and private sector participation.

InfinBANK in the USA: International Investors' Interest in the Bank's Bonds

A practical continuation of the work on developing international investment cooperation was the visit of the InfinBANK delegation to the United States of America.

As part of the joint program, InfinBANK provided the American investment bank Oppenheimer with a mandate to attract capital through the placement of bank bonds. As part of this work, a Non-Deal Roadshow was organized—a series of meetings with potential investors aimed at presenting the bank and studying international market interest in its debt instruments.

The InfinBANK delegation visited Boston, Miami, and New York, where they held bilateral negotiations with representatives of 15 investment funds and banks. During the meetings, bank representatives presented InfinBANK's development strategy, financial indicators, and further growth prospects to international investors, as well as discussed opportunities for investors to participate in the future placement of the bank's bonds totaling up to 300 million US dollars.

The conducted negotiations allowed for the study of international market sentiment and the receipt of initial feedback from potential investors regarding InfinBANK bonds. For the bank, this is an important step in expanding access to international capital markets and strengthening relations with foreign financial institutions.

Today, economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States of America is developing on multiple levels simultaneously, from interstate dialogue to direct contacts between businesses and financial institutions. For InfinBANK, participation in this process presents new opportunities to attract international capital, expand its partner network, and further integrate Uzbekistan into the global financial system.

The upcoming C5+1 summit in Samarkand provides an additional platform for strengthening these ties, and InfinBANK's work with American investors shows that international cooperation is already moving beyond diplomatic agreements and taking on a tangible financial and investment dimension.
