Information about gold bars
The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan sells gold bullion bars through commercial banks in order to expand investment and savings opportunities of the population, as well as to develop the circulation of precious metals.
For sale are bars of pure gold of 999.9 grade weighing 5, 10, 20 and 50 grams in special protective packaging. The packaging of gold bars serves as a certificate and has its own serial number.
The sale and repurchase prices of gold bars are formed on the basis of the world gold price and the margin or discount set by the Central Bank and are published daily in the national currency on the website of the Central Bank.
Note: Margin and discount amounts are determined taking into account operating expenses related to the issuance of bullion bars into circulation.
Gold bars with integral packaging are redeemed by the commercial bank at the sales point by immediate payment to the owner of the bar.
The repurchase of gold bars with damaged or non-conforming packages is carried out through their technical examination, and payment shall be made after inspection.
Gold bars with complete packaging are allowed to be exported outside the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Gold bars are made of 999.9 pure gold in 5, 10, 20, and 50 grams.
Small bars are put into circulation in special protective packaging, which was developed in cooperation with the Italian company “Certiline Srl.”.
Small bar and its packaging have the same serial number. The package has 3 types of protective elements:
